It is a great pleasure to welcome you, on behalf of all staff, Governors, parents and of course children, to our website for Lapage Primary School, West Yorkshire. Our website provides a range of information about Lapage, which we hope you will find useful.

At Lapage, our children thrive in a happy, safe and supportive learning environment. Throughout their time here, children are encouraged to love learning, work hard and welcome and meet the challenges that new learning brings.

We value our partnerships with parents, carers and members of the community, who make a positive contribution to the life of the school.

Our creative and inclusive curriculum has been designed to identify and maximise every learning opportunity, with a central focus on raising the aspirations and achievements of all pupils using a growth mindset approach.

There is a strong focus on the development of English and Maths skills as we know that these are essential. A rich programme of visits, visitors, outdoor learning and extra-curricular activities, provide further opportunities to increase self-confidence and developing and challenging the skills of every learner at Lapage.

Central to our curriculum is the development of social, moral, spiritual and cultural understanding in order that our pupils become confident, aspirational, caring and respectful citizens.
