School meals
Children who have school meals are given a choice of healthy, balanced hot meals which always includes a vegetarian option. All school food is halal and nut-free.
Paid school meals
The cost of a school meal is £2.30 per meal, or £2.00 for nursery pupils.
Free school meals
All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are currently entitled to receive free school meals.
Free school meals are available to children of all ages if their parents/carers are in receipt of certain benefits. If you think you may be entitled to free school meals you should make an application to the local education authority:
